What are the terms for sick leave compensation?

30-180 days grace period in case of sick leave

The grace period is between 30-180 days depending on your choice when you took out the insurance. The number of days is stated in your insurance terms.

You will need to provide documentation of granted compensation from Försäkringskassan, which you can send to us via email or post.

Granted sickness benefit from Försäkringskassan

You will need to have been granted sickness compensation from Försäkringskassan.

How you will get your compensation

If compensation is granted, you will receive a one-time payment directly into your account.

Only covers accidents for the first 6 months

For the first 6 months after taking out the insurance, it only covers sick leave do to accidents.

The insurance does cover nuisances that you have received treatment for within the past 5 years.
